Welcome, welcome to Tharrington Way! This is one of my favorite neighborhoods. When you drive from any direction, you get to experience the little rolling hills of Nash County that are surprising to anyone not from here, with farmlands and trees and beautiful homes, driving out here just feels like home to me. So fitting perfectly into that scene is 3389 Buffaloe Ridge Ct. This home is set back off the road and has a large backyard with a tree line around the back, offering privacy, and keeping you in touch with nature.

Walking into this home you will immediately fall in love with this house plan. A formal dining room is set to the front of the house that could be used for a dining room, a sitting room, or office with this gorgeous chandelier. 

A large island looks over the living area and serves as a great work place with functional storage. You may have been trying to improve our lighting game, and we believe this house was a success! So please share this post if you agree :-)

Built in cabinets surrounding the fireplace, and large windows bring in massive amounts of light, and make this home feel like a cozy cottage in the woods. 


Also on the first floor is the master suite. We’ve painted this in a calming blue and added some tray ceilings to add some dimension. A quiet get away for mom and dad, a place to retreat, soak, and prep for what tomorrow has in store.


Upstairs houses walk in attic space, two guest bedrooms, a bathroom, and a bonus room.

Checking out the exterior, I almost forgot to mention you have this back porch, and a large crawl space allows for a cement floor underhouse storage.

Introducing 3319 Buffaloe Ridge Ct.!

Located in Tharrington Way, this house has plenty of room! It sits on the corner of Tharrington Rd. and Buffaloe Ridge Ct. showcasing its beautiful brick and vinyl exterior against a wide open skyline.

This home is listed at $234,900 and contains 1949 sq ft. on a lot 0.96 acres.  The first floor is the finished living space and second floor remains unfinished for use as storage, or can be finished to add extra bedrooms, bonus rooms, office, bathroom, whatever you can dream up!

When you enter the front door you walk in to a nice wide foyer looking into the formal dining room and the open living area. Hardwood floors connect the foyer, dining room, and kitchen, while carpet makes the living room and bedroom floors comfy and warm. Brushed nickel finishes are included on the light fixtures in this home.

The great room focuses on the fireplace and windows looking out to the back yard, and is open to the kitchen.  A window seat can hide your electronics for your tv, and provides extra storage and seating. These soft grey walls bring a certain amount of peace to this space and make it feel light and airy.

Take a turn and look to the kitchen from the great room, and you will see the breakfast room with door leading to the back deck. A raised bar in the kitchen is perfect for a few extra seats and a fun homework station.  Who can’t love this beveled white subway tile on granite counters, and all those cabinets? The door to the immediate right is a pantry followed by the garage door, and then the master suite door.

Looking through the kitchen towards the front of the house, you will see a door to the laundry room, and a door to the right that leads upstairs to a fully floored attic space that can be finished into 2 or 3 rooms, with a bathroom, and still have some attic space! We’ll see these spaces in a minute, first lets look at the master suite.

This master bedroom is nice and wide with two windows providing tons of light, which if you notice this house is full of big bright windows, that made the lights look puny the day I went by to take these photos!

Next we roll into the master bathroom, a subtle grey tile floor, with a spa like accent tile continues the theme of this house. A water closet separates the toilet from the rest of the bathroom, a garden tub nestles in between the window and double vanity. Then you can walk around to the large walk in closet that has plenty of space to go around!    

Let’s head back to the other end of the house, we can catch a glimpse of the attic space, and the laundry room along the way.

Now off to see one of the guest bedrooms, these rooms and the guest bath are located to the right of the foyer when we came in the front door.

To wrap this tour up, let’s look at the back deck where you can relax and unwind after a long day!

This house is closely located to Nashville and Red Oak, and just a few extra minutes to Rocky Mount, the school districts are Red Oak and Swift Creek Elementary, Red Oak Middle and Northern Nash High School.

Move out of town to Asheboro West Subdivision

The Asheboro West subdivision is located in Stoney Creek outside the city limits of Rocky Mount, at the intersection of Hunter Hill Rd. and Brandymill and Bayview Drives. This new neighborhood offers a large selection of lots in various sizes where you can build or find a move-in ready home.

It is located close enough to Rocky Mount or Nashville making a forgotten item at the grocery store a quick trip! Red Oak and Swift Creek Elementary, Red Oak Middle, and Northern Nash High Schools are the schools for this neighborhood, GO KNIGHTS! Asheboro West also provides nice community with your neighbors, great streets for walking and safety for kids due to no through traffic, a few good cul-de-sacs, and a hill or two for sledding. The country living atmosphere will feel like home out here with big backyards and a nice breeze.
